J U N K I E - I N - L O V E

Hey guys! :) Hi 2017!! Man, this site rested for months, it's embarrassing. Hahaha! But hey, I'm back (hopefully for good. LOL) Anyway, this will go down as a personal post about a certain 'event' I just wanted to share with you guys. It just happened recently. It's very random, I mean literally. It just came out to me and felt like I had to post it. Then I thought it would be a good topic to begin my year with. Since, it is about "someone' who's new to my life... New Year, new chapter with a new someone! Haha

So here it goes...

When I go to the mall, I can't exit it without dropping by a certain bookstore. It has become a habit to kill time through the shelves, casually browsing books which are either in or out of my interest. In times of my impulsed visit, part of my bookstore shenanigans is to sneak aside books I've been eye-ing from every visit, especially if it's the last copy. Then I whisper... "D'yan ka muna, bibilhin kita next week" all probably because I don't have 'some' on-hand that time, or it isn't on the budget, so I had to hold back the enthusiasm and calm the wild nerdy spirit inside of me and just weep within. So here's a story... On a double-date night, I was with my sister, her guy—who happens to be book junkies like me—and then there's my guy, Francis, who isn't exactly like us. The moment I saw the book, I got hooked just by reading the first few pages. It's the kind of book I usually invest in because I could benefit from it all out, passion-wise. Unlike, you know, fiction (but hey I love novels too). Then, same old scenario out of an impulsed visit in a bookstore...clap clap! I'm poor-ever 21. There goes the same old habit, I removed it from its shelf and hid it somewhere else, so chances are low that someone else could be able to buy it before I do. And then my guy, who was observing my crazy antics, grabbed it and said "Tara bilhin na natin, ngayon na". The next second right before I could actually speak, he was already heading to the counter... He got me the book at the second I said I loved it, so that I no longer have to wait for another week before I could get it. Because he knows how much I love reading that it sometimes consumes "babe time". Yep, because my books are his only rival. Cheesy, you might think. But for me it was way more than that. It was a classic gesture in this modern generation where everything is romanticized. And it's one of those rare haps that someone has ever done to me. Yes, it wasn't that grand, but to me, it's the "little things" that matter the most. Get you a guy who pays attention. Someone who can fill your being, not just emotionally, but also mentally. Someone who also values what you value. Someone who you can grow up with together, or even apart. I got mine now.

*** Hi Francis! Thank you for this, love! I love you to bits, so much! ♡♡♡

Guess I'm starting off the year sipping a gallon of creative juice. Yay! All the love!

Basically, Catt <3
